Topic: Over the past 20 years, life expectancy for people living with HIV has risen dramatically thanks to advances in the science and understanding of HIV. As people living with HIV grow older, they may face new challenges, such as developing chronic diseases. This webinar is an overview of how aging impacts HIV. The session will discuss the relationship between diabetes and cardiovascular disease on persons living with HIV. Additionally, there will be information about screening older adults for HIV and the importance of annual HIV testing.
